Dargaville Vet Clinic Baylys 2 Dargaville Run/Walk

The Dargaville Veterinary Clinic Baylys 2 Dargaville is a run or walk from Baylys Beach to Dargaville with distances of 12km and 6.8km. This event is part of the the Sport Northland Run/Walk Series.

The 12km event starts from Cynthia Place in Baylys Beach where there is no vehicle access. There is a steep 250m hill to climb at the start.

The 6.8km event starts at Rick's Paint Shop on Baylys Coast Road on the road from Dargaville to Baylys Beach. There is no parking available here, please use the free

Kerikeri International Piano Competition

This is New Zealand's premier event for solo piano, and has world-wide exposure.14 young pianists from around the world will play before a panel of three international judges, for a prize pool of $30,000. This is an opportunity to hear superb young pianists playing a wide range of music. There are also talks, Master Classes, a judges' recital and social occasions. A perfect mid-year break.
